Many of the following photographs were either taken by the late C. T. Stoner or copied by him with his homemade photocopying camera. He extensively traveled the state of Michigan taking photographs or borrowing and copying photos from whoever and wherever he could find them. His photos have appeared in many railroad books. The collection now resides in the Bentley Historical Library at the University of Michigan.
Other photos were taken by (or negatives purchased from) Harold K. Vollrath although I purchased these photos from other collectors. The color slide copies are from my original slides and original slides that I have purchased.
